In this role, I have provided 1:1 mentoring with young people in the Swindon area. This has entailed support for those young people through guidance, conversations of an ethical and moral nature, as well as building confidence through engaging with activities. In many of my sessions, I have focused on helping young people feel more sure of themselves and further connected with their wider community. During my time with the company, I have been praised by management for being a consistent team player, showing great initiative, and not shying away from any new challenges. This has lead to me being awarded team member of the term in my first full term working for the company.

As a cover teacher I was teaching classes of up to 30 students Key Stage 3 and 4 curriculum in a secondary school setting.It was my job to conduct the lesson as planned by the permanent teacher that I was covering for. However, it was not uncommon that I had to come up with a lesson on the fly. It was a necessity to have a good level of knowledge across a myriad of different subjects in this role.
