Youth for Change was a global youth advocacy organisation which empowered young people to develop and implement policy. • Secured and managed a £500k annual Department for International Development fund across 4 countries: the UK, Tanzania, Bangladesh and Ethiopia• Co-created the International Girls summit alongside the UK Government with 500 delegates from 50 countries, United Nations agencies, survivors, charities, community groups• Delivered the first national school’s conference on Gender Based Violence in the UK, which trained 200 frontline professionals in partnership with the Harris Academy Foundation• Advised the Secretary of State for International Development, Rt Hon Justine Greening MP, on the 2019 Violence against Women and Girls strategy• Developed and led a Violence Against Women and Girls break out session at the UN Commission on the Status of WomenPolicy areas included: International development, Foreign policy, Gender, Youth
