As a Senior Developer at Shopify, I drove impactful initiatives that empowered merchants and elevated Shopify’s capabilities in fulfillment and sustainable practices. My role involved leading projects end to end that delivered value directly to the merchants on the Shopify's Ecosystem.- I spearheaded Shopify Planet, a sustainability first party app enabling over 10,000 merchants to offset shipping emissions daily, supporting conscious consumerism at scale.- I led the integration of Shopify Flow with the order fulfillment platform, resulting in a 103% increase in Flow app installs and a boost in Shopify Plus signups.- Pioneered a project to streamline bulk order processing for merchants, processing 100,000+ orders/day, boosting Shopify Admin adoption, decreasing reliance on third party apps.- Contributed to enhancing public-facing APIs for the fulfillment platform. Developed APIs to facilitate app developers' interaction with Fulfillment orders, representing a comprehensive fulfillment plan for each order. This initiative empowered third-party apps to seamlessly integrate and provide a native experience.- Championed a project to give merchants control over splitting and merging fulfillments, optimizing their shipping processes and enhancing the customer experience. Result ? Complaints dropped from 250 to 0 per month- Provided mentorship and leadership, guiding team members through seamless integration and effective problem-solving.
