Assist the Equity Core operations projects team in streamlining processes and exchanging ideas for bettering business operations to guarantee that daily operations are carried out in accordance with industry standards.• Working on various projects like Vendor replacement, Automation of Corporate actions, Index Methodology reviews, Vendor management and Data solutions projects.• Monitor declared corporate actions carefully, assess the impact on indices, and determine appropriate response plans. Help other analyst make decisions about how to handle complex corporate actions in a given index. Examine and discuss changes to indices brought about by business actions with international teams.• Responsible for Extra Ordinary Corporate actions and ensuring their correct implementation in all Solactive indices, ensuring client replicability of the event and thus minimizing the tracking error.• Management of client relationships and making sure that different deliverables are delivered smoothly, on time, every day, and informing clients of any delays. Responsible for addressing client inquiries concerning the methodology and calculation logic of the index.• Evaluate the index methodology, offer suggestions for enhancements, oversee the seamless transition of any changes to the methodology, test and apply the logic used in the index computations, and provide approval on behalf of the equity operations perspective.

Financial Markets Analyst working within the IMPG team, which is responsible for the maintenance and calculation of S&P Dow Jones Indices. My role includes tasks such as price validation, corporate actions, shares updates, investability and shareholdings research. Consulting a variety of sources including Bloomberg, Reuters, S&P Global Market Intelligence, Factset, Company IR teams, Stock Exchanges, Financial Regulators, etc. is required while carrying out the job. Tight deadlines are regularly faced, especially with regards of projects, as well as daily market opening and market closing tasks.Major projects and responsibilities include:1. Research and Analysis on Market Driven EventsResearch, input, interpret and verify corporate actions, including those of a very complex nature for the markets covered and ensure that they are correctly adjusted and accounted for in S&P Dow Jones Indices , this task includes influencing and communicating to executive level managers and Index Committee members regarding specific market research that potentially affects our portfolios of stocks.2. Roles & Responsibilities• Solely accountable and responsible for constructing and delivering “Pooled Property Fund Index (PFI)”, which is published quarterly in association with “The Association of Real Estate Funds (AREF)”, UK• Handing global clients, communicating with them directly on queries and customised reports over Property returns, Capital Value growth, Income returns etc. and assess their impact on the Fund returns, Segment & Sector returns and Index returns.
