Certified Childbirth Educator and Doula (2010-2018): served families in hospitals, birth centers, homes, and prenatal care centers. Equipped families with educational support and trained them to self-advocate based on their preferences. Provided informational, physical, and emotional support to laboring women. During this same timeframe, I also served as a community advocate in several volunteer roles: *Women's Rights activist, Knoxville, TN (2011), Provided information and advocacy regarding justice and equality issues surrounding pregnancy, birth, and public safety issues. * Mom's Demand Action, Lexington, KY (2012- present): Lead Advocacy Day in Frankfort regarding commonsense gun laws.
