During my co-op training at the Obeikan Rigid Plastic manufacturing plant, I honed my understanding of manufacturing operations, digital transformation, maintenance operations, quality control methods, and safety procedures.- Collaborated with the connectivity team to integrate machines into factory digital transformation platforms (Saned utility, O3, Hodhod) and advanced digital transformation in cooperation with Obeikan Digital Solutions.- Assisted the maintenance team in resolving electrical issues in the factory.- Completed courses on Six Sigma basics and job-related training through the Nawras platform provided by Obeikan Investment Group.- Delivered weekly presentations on acquired knowledge and experiences during the internship.- Utilized Obeikan Operations Optimizers (Saned utility, O3, Hodhod) and implemented 5S Lean Manufacturing methodologies to streamline production and business workflows.- Apply 5S, 5R, DOWNTIME, and Lean Manufacturing methodologies to improve workplace organization, reduce waste, and increase productivity and utilization.- Optimizing production processes and increasing overall equipment efficiency with a strong focus on safety and quality.
