My father was planning to buy a new television in 1992, he had read in the brochure that the television could be used as a computer. That's when I first heard of the computer. A few years later he bought me a personal computer. 500MB hard drive, 8MB RAM, but I had a color screen on my monitor. I studied computer programming in high school. I was programming with QBasic every day. I took dBase and Clipper classes in school. There has been a huge improvement from MS-DOS 6.22 to Windows 95 in terms of user interface. But I'm always closer to the "dark side". Using terminal (or command.com) is more efficient and fun than advanced graphical interfaces :PAfter Qbasic, I tried to learn C programming language from books because Youtube didn't exist then. It was difficult to find resources to learn new things. (You can find my notes on C language in the repository on my github page)After the millennium, the internet began to spread in my country. My interest in web design started in 2003. Internet Explorer has given me a lot of trouble :)I've spent quite a bit of time with PHP Nuke, Mambo and Joomla. However, the constant release of new versions and the time spent updating was tiring for me. I wanted to write my own content management system.In my first experience with backend programming, I used PHP and MySQL.When I was just starting to learn the SQL language, I was a little confused. Because its functions were very limited. Later I discovered "stored procedure" in MySQL. Now I could get the data with a single query. This got me to PL-SQL. I'm happy now :)There was talk of C++ and Java about object-oriented languages. Platform independent, write once, run anywhere appealed to me as well. Since I use Linux distributions and Windows together, I liked that the program I wrote worked smoothly in both.The first job I did with Java was to add a chat to my personal site with the Java Applet. I've never been interested in C++, but the Java adventure still continues.
