Some of the core things that we are doing here are;Linux/Unix ManagementManaged more than 1500 redhat and hp-ux machines. this servers were used for business critical stock exchange applications like trading, clearing, risc management, data warehouse and dissemination We are responsible from the design and development of Borsa İstanbul core infrastructure for targeting all our corporate applications and platforms. Some of these are Infrastructure automation ( puppet then it was replaced by ansible ), Central Logging System (build with logstash-elastic search-kibana) , Workload Management ( UC4/Automic ) Storage Managementinstallation and management of related infrastucture storage components like Storages, Storage Virtulization and San switches ( EMC Vplex , VNX and Brocade San Directors ) Database Management installation and management of related database infrastucture ( Oracle, MSSQL , MySQL , mongodb ) Virtulization Management Vmware was used as virtulization hypervisor . this environemnt has been built in 3 years , currently more than 70 percent virtulization ratio and more than 1000 virtual machines.Backup Management Used networker for physical environment and veeam for virtulization environment . replaced physical tapes libraries with EMC Data Domains to enhance backup and restore performances.
