I carry a versatile work experience that spans Digital Banking, Islamic Finance, Accounting, Taxation, Information Technology, Sales and Customer Service for some of the largest local and international financial Institutions. Currently, I oversee Islamic Digital Financing products at Bank Alfalah. Prior to this, I have worked in similar roles at Mashreq Bank, BankIslami, HBL and Meezan Bank where I had been primarily involved in structuring customised shariah compliant financing solutions and developing new products for multiple banking domains alongside working on various special initiatives. I am also an experienced Islamic Banking trainer having conducted a number of trainings for bank staff as well as for external organisations. Moreover, I frequently conduct workshops and public seminars on Islamic Banking. I have been fortunate to acquire my higher education from some of the most prestigious educational institutions. After doing my Bachelors in Commerce (Major Accountancy) from the John Molson School of Business (Concordia University) with partial coursework completed at Mcgill University, I ventured into the field of finance through CFA. Alongside, my passion for Islamic Finance led me to acquire a Post Graduate Diploma from Centre for Islamic Economics (founded by Mufti Taqi Usmani), followed by a Masters in Islamic Finance Practice from INCEIF (Malaysia). To further quench my thirst for Islamic Finance knowledge, I acquired the Certified Shariah Auditor and Advisor (CSAA) Certification from AAOIFI. As an acknowledgement of my credentials in Islamic Banking, I have been awarded the title of Chartered Professional in Islamic Finance (CPIF) by the Chartered Institute of Islamic Finance Professionals, Malaysia.
