Registered Behavior Technician
Current- Assist in the implementation of behavior plans developed by behavior analysts to help clients with developmental disorders, primarily focusing on autism spectrum disorder (ASD).- Collect and record data on clients' behaviors, responses to interventions, and progress over time to adjust as well as optimize treatment plans.- Use principles from psychology and biology, such as reinforcement and neuroplasticity, I help shape and reinforce desired behaviors through consistent intervention techniques.- Support clients in acquiring daily living skills, communication, and social interaction, which are essential for improving quality of life, by addressing both behavioral and biological aspects of development.- Collaborate with professionals in related fields (e.g., occupational therapists, speech therapists) to address the behavioral needs of clients.
