Role PurposeUnderstanding and meeting customer needs, maximising the opportunities for HSBC to achieve the RBWM plan/metrics.Promoting the Advance and Personal Banking proposition to ensure opportunities are identified and customer needs are met effectively, maximising all available resources.Compliance with the relevant Group standards and the Regulatory organisation as applied to the implementation of the RBWM strategy.Whilst the job holder does not have a direct portfolio of customers they are responsible for generating leads by and making referrals to Wealth and if accredited and over the counter products be accountable for sales of Wealth products.Principal Accountabilities: Ensure all customer's needs are met and sales opportunities are maximized.Undertake effective individual reviews.Working all CRMS leads, contact promises, individual solutions (where applicable).Achieve the cross sales penetration rates and wealth referrals for account opening, lending and other sales.Meeting customer expectations in terms of efficiency, accuracy, timeliness and professionalism of response either face to face or at the telephone.Updating customer profile screens with details of customer contact.Pro-actively encouraging new and existing customers to register for, and use, alternative delivery channels e.g. Personal Internet Banking/self-service equipment for routine queries/transactions.Support customer experience by assisting Sales Floor management periodically on a rota basis.Assist counter and teller positions with support on cash and cheque transactions and opportunity spotting. Role Context Update CRMS on a customer by customer basis.Prepare/obtain exceptional approval from MEM CRM for Status account/loans where required.Correspondence relation to Service issues/complaint.Assist in co-ordinating and handling special projects as and when required.Maintain/Update Desk Instruction Book.Provide Sales floor presence to assist in the customer flow throu
