The Siemens Software Academy diploma was an incredibly enriching and transformative experience, where I gained a deep understanding of modern software development principles, tools, and practices. The program spanned diverse topics and provided hands-on training, enabling me to build and refine my skills in:Effective Coding Best Practices: Advanced Object-Oriented Programming (OOP), code reviews, debugging, logging, and memory optimization techniques.Algorithms and Data Structures: Effective algorithm design, problem-solving techniques, and practice sessions that sharpened my computational thinking.Tools and Utilities: Proficiency in Linux, version management systems, and build systems for software development.Software Design and Architecture: Exploring programming paradigms, system design, UX design, and software architectural principles.Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC): Understanding development models, documentation, and the lifecycle of software development projects.Specialized Software Tracks: Advanced concepts in databases, backend and frontend development, microservices architecture, and desktop applications.This diploma has equipped me with the knowledge and confidence to tackle real-world challenges and deliver impactful solutions in software development.

The Diploma covers the following topics:1- C Programming for Embedded Systems – 40 hours2- Embedded Systems Concepts – 8 hours3- Embedded Systems Interfacing – 64 hours4- Real Time Operating Systems – 16 Hours5- Embedded Systems Testing – 8 Hours6- Embedded Systems Tooling – 4 Hours7- Automotive Bus Technology – 4 Hours8- Soft Skills – 8 HoursApplying all I have learnt on a final project "Mobile controlled home"which the system allows controlling the home by Mobile phone application through Bluetooth . Two subsystems are implemented; Safety door that could be opened by the mobile application by entering user name and password, and light on/off that could be controlled also by the mobile phone. The system supports 10 users with different names and password. In case of entering the name of the password 3 times wrong, the system should give alarm.Mobile Application was Design first using adobe XD , then make Android APK using Flutter .
