My name is Hatem DRIDI and I’m a mechanical engineer. I have been working in the oil field for five years since I was graduated from the National School of Engineering of Tunis.During my first professional experience with Med services Sarl, I had the opportunity to work with companies like Saipem (project of the Central of installation and treatment (CPF) of Menzel Ledjmet East (MLE) Algeria) and Technograph Sarl Italy (project of Sannazzaro refinery (Milano- Italy) project for Snamprogetti Italy ). Therefore, I have been able to acquire a good knowledge in the different area of oil engineering (test packages, P&ID, isometrics...). I could also develop my skills in the work site, which allowed me later to become responsible for site monitoring during my work with ECM + in the project of Installation of Line 6’’ Shipment Line, OMV WAHA CPF in Tunisia.Since February 2014, I had the chance to work in the project of the Power Plant with mono – shaft combined cycle – SOUSSE (stage C and D), with Ansaldo Energia. I took the responsibility of the quality department as an engineer and a supervisor and I was in direct contact with the client (STEG)Defining and organizing the quality control procedures , welding inspections, monitoring the different mechanical systems, (the recovery boiler, the gas turbine, the generator, the steam turbine…), checking the NDT tests, monitoring the quality of Air-Conditioning systems, Heating and Ventilation (HVAC), monitoring assembly stages and Quality Control Plans, inspecting the end of assemblies for piping, visual and dimensional monitoring of mechanical Skids, preparing stock lists….,all these tasks where part of my job.
