Head Design Architect
Current- Monitor the performance of the Design Consultants and review the design to ensure correctness and completeness, as well as compliance with the SOW, client objectives, and Local and int. building codes.- Identifying, reviewing, and advocating changes (variations) to designs in terms of client objectives, technical capability, cost-effectiveness, scope, durability, and maintainability of design solutions.- Monitoring, reviewing, and reporting on consultants' and/or contractors’ design progress.- Managing all design stages to ensure design consultants deliver projects on time and within budget.- Managing the information flow between the design, and construction stages.- Propose alternative materials/systems to improve the Design Operation, Future Maintenance, and Construction costs.-Aligning client- and statutory approvals with approved project programmes.- Ensure that the project design deliverables are on time, within budget, and atthe required level of quality.- Liaising with the planning manager, contract manager, and cost manager.- Preparing, assisting, supporting, and managing consultant and contractor scopes and project briefs.- Evaluating consultants’ variations, claims, and extension of times claims in connection with design services and -stages.- Monitor the performance of the Design Consultants and review the design to ensure correctness and completeness, as well as compliance with the SOW, client objectives, and Local and int. building codes. - Identifying, reviewing, and advocating changes (variations) to designs in terms of client objectives, technical capability, cost-effectiveness, scope, durability, and maintainability of design solutions. - Monitoring, reviewing, and reporting on consultants' and/or contractors’ design progress. - Managing all design stages to ensure design consultants deliver projects on time and within budget.
