Also fielded incoming calls and inquiries, facilitated all inside sales, matching clients'​ needs with various advertising packages and products.Impressed supervisors and was offered an outside sales executive position, which I accepted. I conceived and created the foundation to meet a need to replace a local school playground that was heavily polluted with arsenic, as well as to meet other needs of the students. Part-time volunteer position, responsible for overseeing all aspects of the foundation, including fund raising and general operations, as well as writing press releases and writing and delivering speeches.

General secretarial, receptionist duties. Dispatched bus and van drivers, dealt with various transportation situations that arose.I left this position to pursue other opportunities as hours, training and duties promised did not materialize.

Copyedited all stories, supervised copy flow, ensured deadlines were met, worked directly with freelancers. Developed the Cleveland Magazine Stylebook. Made story assignments. Created and oversaw a respected internship program.

Was responsible for all aspects of research for the “Top 25" lists for the weekly business newspaper. This included compiling mailing lists, developing questionnaires, making follow-up phone calls, and gathering data on companies in the four-county area of Wichita.

Worked for The Plaindealer (a weekly labor union newspaper) and The Wichita Journal (a weekly business newspaper). Did reporting for both. Collected, typeset, and handled the billing for legal advertisements. Handled all production aspects for The Plaindealer, including layout and supervising press runs. Left when employment promises were not kept and was offered a position at another publication.
