• Zywave is a leader in web-based SaaS product solutions for insurance brokers. This role utilized my HR/Employee Benefits background from a more consultative and strategic standpoint.
• Proactively managed domestic and international territory of 200+ partners, providing 1:1 account management and software consultation services to ultimately drive retention and protect our book of business
• Planned and executed strategic action plans to satisfy the unique goals of our partners, whether it be increasing efficiency, earning more business, retaining existing clients, training green producers, etc.

• von Briesen is one of the largest law firms in the state of WI. I was one of two people in our HR Department, so while my role focused on employee benefits, I had involvement in just about all HR-related functions.
• Administered employee benefits, serving as primary contact for questions and claims issues
• Performed all insurance related tasks including completing COBRA notices, managing employee coverage, reconciling and paying monthly invoices, sending and tracking required notices, etc.
• Acted as timekeeping administrator. This included registering and training new hires on systems (ADP) and processes, reviewing and approving PTO requests and timecards for timely payroll processing, and reconciling.
• Recruited staff positions such as Reception, Legal Assistants, Mail Room, IT and Accounting and participated in all new hire onboarding
• Planned and coordinated HR events such as 401(k) meetings, flu shots, biometric screenings, lunch n' learns, wellness fairs, benefit presentations, holiday giving tree, etc.

• As an HR Assistant, I was fortunate to gain experience in all areas of HR. I had a high degree of autonomy in this role and developed well-rounded skills and a knack for efficiency. I left this role to pursue full-time.
• Worked roughly 20 +/- hours per week while also attending school full-time at UWM
• Proposed and eventually spearheaded the transition to a paperless HR environment by researching and recommending a new payroll and HRIS vendor

• Processed an accurate biweekly payroll via ADP, including processing data such as garnishments, 401(k) contributions, wage increases, retroactive pay, and commissions for 100+ employees

• During this short-term internship, I was able to gain valuable recruiting and HR experience with a large company in the healthcare and senior-living industry. I completed this internship while also attending school.

• Reviewed resumes, conducted phone screens, and passed summary and recomendations to hiring managers
• Greeted candidates, walked them to their interview room, gave office tours, proctored candidate testing, sent turn-down letters, etc.
