As a freelance writer, I work with directors on honing in their vision on the page. I help to articulate their visualizations into words and offer my own ideas for characters, plot, structure, dialogue, etc. Independently, I write my own short and feature length films.

As a development intern, I work with John Fogel ("The Only Living Boy in New York") on 1-2 studio film projects a month. I read a screenplay, verbally debrief my thoughts on it, and then deliver my development notes to the writer. I continue to provide feedback for as long as the writer makes revisions. I also write scenes for John and receive mentorship on how to improve my writing.

My responsibilities include: - Assisting with Character’s annual print magazine- Writing daily news and online content (including listicles, Q&As, etc.)- Researching and interviewing talent- Transcribing, fact-checking and editing- Writing social media copy- Assisting in preparation for Character events- Attending events and writing post-event coverage

My main duties as an AAJA National Intern were: - 2022 Convention support- Social media drafting, posting, and scheduling - Data organization and filing- Assistance with programs/initiatives- Contributing Writer to HQ's blog, AAJA Defined- Editing video content.

As a content editor, I edit two writers' works every other week for grammar and concision. I also offer creative suggestions besides the technical aspects of writing improvement. During my free time, I like to write and submit my own works.
