Architect & Site Engineer
• Assist the design team to coordinate the Architectural Plans, Designs and Construction Details.• Preparing conceptual designs for delivery (i.e. Multistory Building, Offices, Interior Designs…).• Supporting and assisting lead Architect in all phases of a major project and produced plans for various clients using advance CAD drawings.• Drafted detailer architectural and structural building plan and prepared AutoCAD base sheets using combination of surveys (both electronic and hard copy).• Conducted studies and special projects on space planning, structural analysis, design feasibility and other related Architectural issues.• Liaising with the clients, contractors and builders and ensuring the smooth running of every day operations.• Supporting and assisting with comprehensive knowledge of the methods, materials, tools and equipment used in construction. Very good knowledge of the principles and practices of architecture engineering as applied to surveying, drafting and designing. • Perform an array with very good knowledge of safe working practices and procedures. Knowledge of Iraq Building, Fire Safety, HVAC and Plumbing Codes. • Perform an array of administrative duties related to architectural construction projects such as code and zoning research, reviewing contractor payments, and monitoring project budget.• Projects included large scale presidential buildings, residential and low rise commercial.• Maintain project quality control by reviewing and making necessary adjustments on shop drawings.• Develop and implement policies for production of construction documents, architectural designs, and procedures for construction.• Preparing reports as required.
