I am a graduate of Griffith University Gold Coast, awarded the Bachelor or Business with a double major in Economics & Human Resource Management. Throughout my time of study and work as an Assistant Restaurant Manager at McDonald’s I’ve picked up very valuable and core learnings which I apply each day in my life. I am an eager and enthusiastic graduate aspiring for a field in Statistical Analysis, Auditing and/or IT fields. I pride myself on my skillset in organization, prioritization and communication. As a result of my seniority in the store and through specific courses I took at University I have a highly developed means of communication which allows me to professionally conduct myself over multiple mediums such as email, phone or in person. My IT skill set provides a fairly moderate knowledge in Microsoft Office Suite, including Microsoft Excel. This can be reflected through the ‘badge’ for Microsoft Excel found on my LinkedIn profile. Following this, I have thorough experience in Eviews Econometric Modelling software and the application of mathematical concepts in data analysis. This is a particular field I have a very strong passion for as I have always quite an interest in mathematics and statistics. Outside the scope of basic Office Suite, I have a keen interest in IT and as a hobby growing up built my own computers. I have high-school experience with C+ programming and tinkered with Python programming language. My understanding of computer hardware and technical terminology is of a moderate level. The major of Economics and courses covered allowed thorough coverage of quantitative data analysis and mathematical skills which allowed for predicting outcomes with concepts such as regressions or model building. In this process concepts such as heteroskedasticity, inference for multiple regressions, instrumental variable estimation and time series models. The second half of my degree which focused on Human Resource Management allowed me to develop and apply skills at work in the field of change management, performance management, training & development and recruitment & selection. Theories that were covered include SMART Goal Theory; Situation, Task, Action, Result (STAR model), Maslow’s Hierarchy of Needs and Tuckman’s Team Development Stages.The combination of these two majors provide for great analysis in the fields of quantitative data as well as the ability to successfully execute positive interpersonal/intrapersonal relationships.
