Jonathan’s motto is “Embrace Badassery,” and he’s been doing just that since he was a kid. In college, he won five regional Emmy Awards and his most badass achievement is starting Mad Hat Creative, where you can find him working on some pretty awesome projects.Jonathan has directed and edited tv and digital ads for some pretty exceptional brands, including Costco, Synovus Bank, the United States Marines Corps, Purina, Atlanta Hawks, and Children's Healthcare of Atlanta to name a few. Jonathan's exceptional interviewing skills have allowed him to engage with industry titans such as Ryan Gosling, Peter Jackson, Sanjay Gupta, athletes, CEOs through an authentic approach and genuine interest in other peoples stories. He's proud to have partnered with ad agencies including Ammunition, Wunderman Thompson, Brighthouse, BBDO, and others to make their clients shine.When Jonathan isn’t editing, directing and producing, it’s a safe bet he's with his family. Fully embracing the badassery of domestic bliss, he often spends hours training his dog… and while he's at it, his neighbors' dogs too.Jonathan was over-the-moon when his 2020 campaign for the CNN Films documentary "Apollo 11" won a Promax North America Award for Editing.
