Reporting directly to the Head of Enterprise Risk as part of the Line 2 Risk Leadership team. Responsible for defining and overseeing the delivery of Line 2 Risk Management services to three large clients. Responsibilities include; overseeing the Line 2 Risk services delivered to three major clients including design and delivery of holistic migration / transformation risk assessments, direct internal and client stakeholder management to a Senior Level, working closely with Line 1 Risk areas (Operations, IT and Change) to deliver ongoing framework improvements and improved service. Supporting the growth and development for 8 direct reports.

Responsibilities included; oversight of migration / transformation programmes for the account including ongoing risk assessment and scenario based stress testing, direct client relationship management to a senior level, reporting design and delivery and managing the risk and control framework ensuring alignment to client requirements. Line management for 2 FTE.

Ensuring effective delivery of Line 2 Risk Management services to a large client. Responsibilities included; oversight of projects including ongoing risk assessment and scenario based stress testing, direct client relationship management, managing the organisations risk and control framework aligned to client requirements and line management and development for 1 FTE. Designed and delivered a successful Operational Risk Forum for the IT & Change leadership team. Increased senior management engagement by implementing a Top Down and Emerging Risk process across the organisation, encouraging peer review and challenge.

Overall responsibility to work with all areas of the business to develop understanding and knowledge of the Risk Management Framework and improve the data held on within the organisations Corporate Risk tool. Vast improvements made to the quality of the data held within the risk system across all business functions including operations.

Maintenance and presentation of IT Risk Management Information to Director level including creation and implementation of Risk Management measures across the organisation. Rollout and ongoing management of a control testing programme for IT & Change including testing control design and operation.

Led and managed an improvement initiative to document all key IT Risk processes within the UK. Created and implemented risk management measures for the IT& Change leadership team including the development of an annual risk awareness survey. Undertook IT S-Ox control walkthrough’s and Quality Assurance activity. Designed and delivered a feedback and influencing skills workshop for the function.

Managed core Risk Management systems and databases to improve MI accuracy including the use of risk management software and complex Risk logs for the IT & Change function. Management of Business Impact Analysis and Business Continuity Plans for IT and Change.

Day to day management of the small change process including running internal training workshops. Implemented service level agreements with external suppliers and internal departments resulting in the volume of change requests meeting SLA moving from 55% to 89%. Vast improvements made to processes within the area resulting in lower costs, improved service levels and clear process definition.

Duties included candidate management, stakeholder management, liaising with agencies and consultancies, MI reporting and deputising for consultants during their absence. Successfully implemented a number of improvements to the recruitment process which resulted in reduced team error, easier handover of work and more effective use of time.
