As an Actuary at Milliman's Seattle Health practice, I have over 15 years of experience in providing actuarial consulting services to a wide range of clients in the health insurance industry. I am a Fellow of the Society of Actuaries (FSA) and a Member of the American Academy of Actuaries (MAAA), and I have developed a strong expertise in Medicare, Medicaid, and stop loss products.My mission is to help my clients navigate the complex and dynamic health care landscape, and to deliver high-quality, innovative, and timely solutions. Some of my recent consulting assignments have included preparing Medicare Advantage bids for Institutional Special Needs Plans and general enrollment plans, leading research and model development for enhancing Medicare Advantage Star Ratings, evaluating liabilities and assets for statutory financial submissions, calculating capitation rates for state Medicaid agencies, and modeling and pricing stop loss products for self-insured employers and captives. I am passionate about applying my actuarial skills and knowledge to address the challenges and opportunities facing the health care sector.
