  Working in a larger than average primary school, my role is to oversee and lead on all aspects of the welfare of the children. This includes monitoring their attendance and working with parents to address difficulties. I also work as a parent liaison, signposting them to various support as needed, including referring children to external support services such as CAMHS and Young Carers. As the Senior Mental Health Lead, I work alongside the SENDCo to manage the SEMH side of the SEND register and am one of the DDSL’s. I am a trained and licensed Thrive practitioner, hold a Nurture Group Certification, am trained to deliver Drawing and Talking at the advanced level and have recently trained as a Parent Group Leader with Family Links.
