I joined boohoo in July 2015, a month after graduating at the University of Manchester Metropolitan. I started off as a Buyers Admin Assistant on casual dresses working with UK suppliers, managing the critical path, suppliers and going into fits. Whilst on casual dresses I managed China with the buyer and India casual dresses with the head buyer. As I progressed I also took on the role of managing the product area of casual maxi dresses.In February 2016, I was then moved over to Evening dresses. This move enabled me to progress further in my role as a BAA managing more supplier accounts, getting more involved in development and also managing the area of Co ords alongside the Junior Buyer. As I became a more advanced BAA I took on the below roles & responsibilities - Running and creating reports for trade for Evening dresses- Creating the whole trade pack for Co-ords-Managing supplier accounts- Critical Path management- Supplier meetingsDuring this time I also created a 'Buyers Admin Training Pack'​ for new BAA starters at Boohoo. This led to the Head Buyer creating a training programme, and myself developing this further to help new starters to the buying team.

Myself and three other students set up our own business 'MCR Jewellery Box' as part of our final year at Manchester Metropolitan University. My role was as Buying Director where I sourced and selected products that would best represent our brand and tailor towards our target market.
