- Fielding and managing daily requests for aircraft appearance services from existing and new customers- Working with the vendor network to assign work based on the needs of the request and location demand- Foster and maintain professional relationships with our vendor network and clients- Identify potential new network partners, as well as potential new customers- Identifying trends and opportunities for improvement- Maintain detailed records through our technology platform to ensure transparent and reliable flow of information to our client base and vendor network

Air Transportation specialists must plan and organize air transportation activities, including determining the supplies, facilities and personnel needed. They'll establish procedures for loading both passengers and cargo aboard aircraft, and implement any necessary safety precautions for handling dangerous materials, special cargo, mail, and baggage. Air transportation airmen are also tasked with directing air transportation activities, including unloading any airdrops of supplies or other items. They establish procedures aboard aircraft for any passenger or aircraft clearance across international borders.These airmen are also called upon to inspect airlift activities, and recommend any needed corrective action, as well as providing any technical assistance that may be required.

The Network Operation Control (NOC) is the decision center and owner of the airlines short-term scheduled operations. The Operations Control Team supports the all the teams and operating systems within the NOC.The Ops Control Team responsibilities range from system testing, work with system tracking tools, coordination with various team, and auditing and verifying data updates across the NOC.Network Operation Controllers responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Assist with testing and validation of new systems.Assist in the development of training material (i. e. new automation, training, and reference material).Assist Operation Coordination Center Leaders on various projects and tasks.Audit current Dispatch System data.Find flight issues using Dispatcher tools and tracking software.Verify data updates for accuracy (performance, fuel bias, etc.).Review data looking for examples of known software issues.Some administrative duties.Assist with maintenance of department systems and equipment.My time as an intern focused largely on setting up, configuring, and testing systems necessary to run procedures out of the ROCC (Remote Operations Control Center). I assisted with both software and hardware facilities management, and was part of the 5 man team that completed ROCC set-up.
