I am a visual designer skilled in User Experience Design (UX), User Interface Design (UI), Conceptual Design, Brand Identity, Content Strategy, and Visual Communication. I am fascinated by users and strive to learn everything I can about their behaviors, attitudes, and emotions. My career experience and skills have grown from my childhood hobbies: drawing, creating collages and psychoanalyzing my family and friends.  I loved to sketch, doodle, and understand the "why" behind people's behaviors in hopes to better understand human psychology.  Although the artistically inclined shrink gig didn't exactly pan out, I've still been able to convert those passions into reality through various roles in my career.I trained in Brand Identity Design + Strategy from Shillington NY and earned a BA in Visual Arts from Brigham Young University. In my current role, I work to uncover user needs. I create wireframes, storyboards, user flows, process flows, and site maps. With each project, my intention is to solve and translate complex problems for organizations and users through research and design. I care about my customers, have empathy for them, and work to both understand and solve their problems. My one guiding principle is continually looking for ways to evolve the product to better meet the needs of the users. Achieving this goal almost always requires collaboration with teams of Designers, Researchers, Engineers, and Product Managers throughout the design process. I am thrilled when I am working to find patterns in behaviors and emotions that help define the products and experiences my team and I create. I love quality, usability, and simplicity. And working on teams with passionate individuals who care about their craft. I geek out over microinteractions and visual consistency and have enterprise-level experience using Sketch and Adobe CS.In my free time, I enjoy live music, throwing away clothes that are hiding in the back of my closet, and studying human interaction sociology and psychology. I bet we can find a fun project to work on together Hayley@hayleyadams.com  HayleyAdams.com
