I'm the Marketing Storyteller for IT Security for Cisco's UK & Ireland region. That means I spend most of my time researching what those dastardly cyber criminals are up to, and I also have a lot of conversations with my much cleverer research colleagues, in order to create content which seeks to inform people about the current threat landscape against businesses. IT Security is a subject I'm immensely passionate about, and what's most important to me is helping customers protect their livelihoods, and educating users not to leave the back door open.

It's content, content, and more content in my role at TSG. I manage our jargon free (and now award winning) technology blog, Don't Get Blogged Down by Technology. I'm passionate about the power of video and seek to create informative and entertaining formats, whether that's a 'Graham Norton style' chat show about the latest IT Security threats, or a retro 2D video game to promote our SystemCare service. I'm also responsible for composing TSG's case studies, and I place a particular importance on creating a story about how we help our customers take advantage of great technology, in a way that's right for them. Best of all I'm part of a fantastic marketing team who are keen to demystify the world of IT for the benefit of our customers.

The Entrepreneurs' Forum was set up in 2002 to help and inspire entrepreneurs in the North East to grow the most successful business possible. As Marketing Manager, I'm the lead writer and editor for the quarterly eforum magazine, I work on the Entrepreneurs' Forum's core online and offline marketing strategy and activities and our campaign to promote an entrepreneurial culture, ‘If we can, you can’.

Working with team at the Forum to develop direction and content for a major campaign to promote an entrepreneurial culture in the North East. The role includes interviewing, writing, development of marketing and advertising materials, video production and planning, web development, content management, online TV management, social media and digital marketing, PR and organisation of events.
