I manage the purchasing process of human / animal tissue which is used in the QC testing / validation and Development of antibodies and ancillaries. I also lead the strategic planning to determine tissue requirements for the QC testing of thousands of products a year in advance. I have proven experience of implementing processes that have resulted in significant financial and time savings.I have built strong relationships with national and international tissue suppliers. I have experience of setting up new suppliers. I take leadership in the improvement of tissue traceability processes across the site. I have experience in new work instruction writing, change controls, CAPAs, non conformance investigations and report writing. I am also responsible for on board training of the HTA Policy and tissue traceability processes as well as supervision and mentorship to all LBS Newcastle Associates. I have over 6 years experience of regularly performing laboratory techniques such as microtomy, cryotomy as well as IHC, ISH and FISH staining techniques as part of tissue quality inspection.
