As a terrestrial ecologist with over seven years of environmental consulting experience and four years in research, I have been involved in various projects related to vegetation, wetlands, wildlife, and habitat restoration across Alberta and British Columbia. I have successfully led field teams, liaised with indigenous participants, collected and analyzed data, and prepared regulatory and technical reports. I hold the credentials of Professional Biologist (P.Biol.) in Alberta and Registered Professional Biologist (R.P.Bio.) in British Columbia. My passion for ecology and conservation stems from my academic background in ecology and plant mating systems combined with my love of the natural world and the outdoors. I have a strong foundation in scientific research, writing, and communication, as well as computer programming, databases, and system testing. I leverage these skills to utilize technology such as GIS for spatial analysis and R for statistical analysis. My goal is to contribute to the understanding and protection of biodiversity and ecosystems in Canada and beyond.
