Innovative project manager, reporting to the carbon programme manager and senior leaders, accountable for projects related to the council’s ambitions to be a Net Zero county by 2050 & Carbon Neutral by 2030. Actively engaged in cross cutting projects and programmes to facilitate the shift to a low carbon future. Expertise in transport and property decarbonisation, carbon reporting, carbon literacy training and impact assessment development. Passionate about climate knowledge being an impactful way to support a just transition.

Overseeing the Education, Health and Care (EHC) needs assessment, writing, amending and monitoring of Education, Health and Care Plans, through direct communication with families, schools, Local Authority Officers, and other multi-agency professionals for children and young people from 0 to 25A good working knowledge of current SEND-related legislation and the SEND Code of Practice. Able to work under pressure in a busy office environment, to meet deadlines and to identify priorities when faced with competing demands. Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to build and maintain strong and positive working relationships with families, schools and a range of other professionals.
