As Collaburo Office Manager I am responsible for managing the day to day operations of the Co-working facilities. I am kept busy responding to inquiries by phone, e-mail, and in person, from members and potential clients. I assist with signing up new clients with memberships or day passes. With the social media team, I actively monitor and update all social media platforms with the latest promotions and activities at Collabüro.As Events Manager, I facilitate and organize private Collabüro events. Scheduling and providing tours to visitors and potential clients, managing bookings calendar and assisting customers with bookings, assist customers with all aspects of events planning from space layout to coordinating with external vendors such as Caterers, Rental Equipment suppliers, Event insurance and Special Events licenses.

Developed and implemented the concept of a speciality summer day camp for youth on the autism spectrum that required 1:1 or greater support to be their most successful. Organised charter bus trips and bus passes to expand the recreational and life skill development of the youth aged 4 to 25 years of age.Expanded the speciality concept to include March Break Camp and a Saturday Fun Club. Realising the need for parents to have adult time, created a Family Fun Night for both the ASD youth and their siblings to attend to allow for a kid free evening.Created a Camp within the Camp for those that were higher functioning with a Counsellor in training model. From this model a dedicated program was created that allowed the youth to vote and develop the program content deciding which of the many fun and challenging activities to choose to visit that Ottawa had to offer. The program aimed to assist with life skill development with gaining comfort in ordering Fast Food and eating in restaurants which can be over whelming.The success of the programs was a team effort and I was fortunate over 10 years to be able to train and mentor young adults, promoting those that had great potential even if they didn't realise it themselves and creating a management team to take responsibility for the different organisational and implementation aspects of a challenging and dynamic environment. Being responsible for all aspects of Human Resources, we hired and trained many teenagers, respecting inclusion and diversity who were experiencing working and interaction with autism for the first time. With support and training in the natural environment they became dedicated support workers and advocates for autism and those with disabilities and took that out in to the wider community securing positions in school boards and many aspects of the medical and social services industries.

European Marketing Manager for Electronic Design Automation software company where I was responsible for all Marketing Communication activities in the UK and throughout Europe and Scandinavia liaising with 5 Country Managers to develop and implement their region's specific marketing strategies. Managed a multi million USD budget in multiple currencies, worked closely with PR agencies in England, France, Germany and Italy to maintain relationships with local journalists and trade publications for product launches and develop advertising campaigns. Organized tradeshows & sales booths at exhibitions such as EuroDAC and Electronica as well as smaller country specific events. Whilst the European team were together, I organised team building activities and entertainment. Transferred from the European headquarters to the USA headquarters to focus on the world wide Public Relations aspects and plan an Asian PR tour. Scheduled executives and product developers interviews with journalists, and managed the company's press schedule at Trade Shows such as the Design Automation Conference (DAC) and The Embedded Systems Conference.

Having completed a temporary position at Lattice Logic, joined Mentor Graphics UK location to provide administrative support for the Software Applications Department in Bracknell and to coordinate with the Scottish office. Also coordinated the Training Department supporting the two trainers with bookings and coordination of all aspects of the visiting trainees, including those from other countries. As the company knew I was working on my professional marketing qualifications, I was given the additional responsibility of all aspects of the UK marketing which included a newsletter, direct mail campaigns, advertising campaigns and working with a PR agency for press announcements. Also coordinated marketing events to support regional sales teams and a UK Roadshow with 5 locations in England and one in Scotland. Working collaboratively with a small team of customers, we developed the UK User Group, a two day conference for customers to attend in excess of 40 presentations by company representatives and Customers of the Mentor Graphics suit of products. The event also included accommodation, diner and evening entertainment which I coordinated for 300+ people. I also organised a dedicated User Group for Scottish Customers and a University User Group for those customers in the Education sector.
