- Take direction and collaborate with the Art Director to complete notes and revisions.- Design and paint background with 16 bit color.- Meet deadlines and quotas as assigned by production.- Ensure all artwork is stored and backed up on Teradici and Shotgrid

- Create high quality digital matte paintings that might have a render as a base- Detail-match shots or change existing shots to a different mood or time of day- Communicate with the Art director and comp supervisor to understand the visual requirement and technical challenge of a background.- Create concept art of props and locations based on the script, storyboard and notes from the director.- Format the submitted files to be production-friendly for the comp and modeling team

- Review the animatics and all the necessaryassets of the assigned backgrounds.- Paint background keys based on the provided layouts that mirror the project design style.- Organize and format the artwork to be accessible and production-friendly.- Work with supervisors to resolve any files, deadlines, or continuity issues that might arise.- Ensure the production deadlines are met while maintaining the highest standard of quality.
