About Hans Beks
For over 2 decades I worked in technical complex, large deal, sr. negotiation sales and bizdev jobs in the video industry (incl consumer electronics for this industry). An industry that converted into SaaS models, Software only solutions, Cloud and (public) data centres and apps. This has enhanced my skillset and business understanding towards new business models.I worked for mostly interbnational globally operating vendors. As international sales manager I worked on large and complex B2B opportunities with multinationals. Those projects require technical understanding of the solution to better position your negotiation position. My 12 years electronics study helps in this. I also worked closely with channels partners, reseller, distributors and strategic alliance partners in Central and Eastern Europe, the BENELUX and the Nordics as contacts, contracts, currency and culture sometimes require local presence. It’s over 25 years that I work permanently from a well-equipped and recently fully renovated home office based close to Eindhoven (NL) and I own a private car.I am used to frequent international/global traveling. Time difference is common practice and my typical workdays run from early morning until late at night. I am not shy of odd working hours due to the nature of international customers and employers.I am used to work against tight deadlines, set sales targets and weekly reporting structures. Both financially and project related. I have broad experience to work with international and remote teams consisting of different members (nationality, level and expertise) and strive to ultimate customer satisfaction.In my spare time I mostly do DIY jobs like installing home electricity systems, working with professional electrical tools and moderate construction. I enjoy fixing computers and experiencing with home automation like Hue, Casambi and Somfy.My passion is with sports and for nearly 12 years (stopped in Jan ’17 due to extensive travel) I teached various classes incl. Spinning and Bodypump. A job that requires serious motivation and coaching to bring the best out of the participants and help them to reach their personal goals. This experience helps me in managing the teams in my daily sales activities.
