- Lead Designer for all aircraft cabin development and on-board soft product programmes. - Support Designer for ground based Interior Design projects.I joined the multi-award winning, Virgin Atlantic in-house Design Team back in 2015, to initially focus on the development of the A350-1000 cabin interiors. Myself and one other Designer were hired at the start of the project, before Virgin Atlantic finalised the aircraft decision. I oversaw this cabin development from both a creative and strategic point of view. Initially I co-developed the aesthetic and customer emotion vision for the aircraft and then developed that into tangible Design solutions. My primary focus was the design and development of the Award winning Upper Class Loft, a luxurious Door 2 social feature monument, however, I also effected other area’s of the cabin as well. Some of the key activities include concept development, lighting design, trim and finish development and innovation, Design Management of external agencies and oversight of production.I have also continued to design lead the development of the Leisure configuration of the A350-1000.I am Design Lead for all cabin classes and cabin monuments for the A330-900 Neo’s, developing some exciting products that will be present on the first Aircraft delivery in 2022.
