As project manager at the Center for International Legal Cooperation I focus on implementing projects in relation to strengthening the rule law. In doing so I write proposals for calls made by foreign ministries, the EU and other international partners, take care of the implementation, work closely with experts and partner organisation. I will mainly focus on projects in the Balkan and Eastern European regions.

As founder, I formulate and set the course of the organisation in collaboration with the Advisory Board. I manage a young team and initiate various projects. At the Young Diplomat I developed trainings, seminars and courses for the ministries of foreign affairs of Ukraine, Hungary and The Netherlands, as well as for institutions like the College of Europe, Leiden University, Erasmus University Rotterdam and Durham University. I also develop new methods, conduct research in the field of negotiation and diplomacy, and advise NGOs and diplomats on negotiation strategy.My expertise in international negotiation is specifically in the political, public and private arena. Especially on developing and applying strategies, and where the public and private field meet. Other fields of expertise are on the European Union, Eastern Europe and their relation with Russia.

The University Council (UC) is the most central participatory body of Erasmus University Rotterdam. The UC has legal rights and obligations in different policy areas. As independent chair I take care of the daily management, lead meetings, give advice for decision making and work closely with the Executive Board, Supervisory Board and other stakeholders. A few milestones for me personally were; the Hoffman affaire, reforming the working method, appointments of Executive and Supervisory board members, education during the corona crisis, and, as a gay person, propelling the development and execution of diversity and inclusion policies.

As project manager I manage the team of volunteers, set realistic deadlines with the team, and ensure the quality of the research. The plan supported an increase in sales, the value of the overall program and customer satisfaction.
