Arts in the healthcare field - Artist Instructor. Works with cancer patients and their family members, providing them with the emotional support tools they need through arts instruction. Works with patients in a classroom setting, at their bedside, and in outpatient infusion clinics. Must be very sensitive to patients and their needs and wishes, as well as their emotional status.

Teaches children and adults beginner-level acrylic painting in a fun, creatively supportive atmosphere. Creates new paintings for classroom use.

Work with clear plastic and oil paints. My work usually consists of found organic objects that I enlarge and distort visually to make the object seem important.

Looked at patient charts and assigned the appropriate CPT codes, ICD9 codes, etc in order to facilitate the insurance claims process. My superior would then review the chart and then approve or send it back to me for correction.
