Technology Operations Manager
Current•Oversees infrastructure management by ensuring data centers, networks, and servers are maintained properly and scaled according to the bank’s needs. •Provides systems monitoring by implementing and managing tools to oversee performance and ensure uptime. Identifies and resolves any issues or outages promptly. •Ensures the security of the bank’s technological resources, monitoring and responding to potential cyber threats by escalating with the appropriate teams. •Ensures all technology practices adhere to regulatory requirements and internal policies including managing audits, both internal and external, and addressing any compliance issues. •Leads and approves all technology-related projects, including software and hardware upgrades, migrations, and implementations. Coordinates cross-functionally with various departments and vendors to complete successful transitions. •Selects and manages relationships with technology vendors and service provides to ensure the bank receives the best possible service and value. •Develops and manages the technology budget, making cost-effective purchasing decisions by evaluating technology expenditures against return on investment. •Leads a team of IT professionals, which includes hiring, training, task oversight, and professional development. Setting clear goals and expectations while boosting morale and aligning with the bank’s objectives. •Participates in strategic planning with senior management, including the executive team, to ensure technology aligns with and supports the bank’s business goals. •Keeps abreast of new technologies that can drive innovation and competitive advantage.
