Ave Maria is a merger of St. Thomas More School, St. Anne School, Our Lady of Grace School, and St. Bernard School.Instruct 500+ students weekly at both of Ave Maria Academy’s campuses located in Bethel Park and Mt. Lebanon.Extracurriculars include serving as as an assistant coach for both cross country and track & field. Moderate spelling bee at both campuses.

Instructed approximately 400 students in grades preschool through 8th grade on a weekly basis.Chaired committee for new textbook selection for 2010-11 school year. Used successnetplus.com for in-class Spanish coursework and online assessments. Held Spanish Club meetings monthly for duration of school year for students in grades 5-8.Moderated Spelling Bee.Served as assistant coach for cross country and track & field.

Instructed approximately 95 Spanish I students and 25 Spanish III students for 12 weeks. Provided administration with weekly lesson plans accompanied with ACTFL National Content Standards. Completed weekly evaluations for students in Alternative Education Program and created “Adapted” alternative assessments for students in program.

Assumed two separate assignments in high school. Instructed 140 Spanish II students for approximately 10 weeks to begin school year and Instructed 130 Spanish I students for approximately 7 weeks. Attended collaboration meetings twice per week with experienced teachers with similar teaching assignments to work together to ensure similar class pacing, assessments, and activity sharing. Held regular after school tutoring sessions, and provided feedback in process to assess and select new textbook series used in high school.

Accountable for instruction of Spanish I and Spanish II to approximately 120 students for two years. Submitted lessons using "Understanding By Design."Utilized Smart Board and other technology in classroom to demonstrate proper use of online resources for Spanish practice. Passed Praxis III evaluation in Spring, 2007.Served as Band Moderator, assisting director with marching, jazz, and concert bands.
