I was Born in Stillwater, Oklahoma. From the farms of western Oklahoma to the inner city of Washington D.C., I have devoted my life on constant search to better my eye and the precision with which I photograph the world. To me, taking a picture is not all about getting the prettiest or best shot. I feel that to capture a moment in a certain angle is like looking at a painting. Every picture I have taken always seems to have something to say, not just something to show. Photography is so much more than a medium, it is an experience, an expression, a glance, an emotion, a story. As the world of professional photography begins to shrink less and less from my works at the Chicago Sun Times to fewer commercial clients like Restore hair that proudly display my work all over Chicago. Yeah, the Urlacher ones. I have had to seek out new opportunities. Maybe it was luck or just being in the right place. I was offered the opportunity of a lifetime. Being on the team to launch a project that has never been tried before. That was working for Lyft and partnering with General Motors to launch what is now one of Lyft’s most successful programs, Express Drive. Four years later, there are now multiple locations across the US providing thousands of people with the means of transportation and a way to make money that wasn’t available before. I worked at Lyft under their Global Operations team in Chicago, IL 4 years. Being among the first employees hired in Chicago, I was one of the key team members to launch Their rental car program partnered with Hertz, GM, and Avis.After being laid off at Lyft due to the COVID-19 pandemic in 2020. I began a new start with Comcast as a Field Technician and finally landing back in Tulsa, OK doing what I love for Quickie-Mart as their Digital Media Manager.Skills: Expert knowledge with Adobe Photoshop and Lightroom software on both Mac and PC platforms. Proficient with other Adobe products such as InDesign, Acrobat, and Illustrator. Professionally experienced working with professional photo studio lighting and setup. Professional experience working with photo/video equipment in general such as light meters, SLRs, various lensed, portable lighting equipment, ect.Other technical program skills include SQL, Zendesk, Jira, and other in-house tools built by various employers. Intermediate to expert knowledge of 3D Printing and programs such as Autodesk Fusion 360, Tinkercad, Cura, and Canvas.io.
