As a data analyst I specialize in working with complex datasets to identify trends and patterns that drive business decisions. My expertise includes data cleaning, analysis, and visualization, as well as developing tools to automate processes and improve efficiency.In my current role at Research NZ, I'm responsible for cleaning and standardizing incoming datasets from external clients, as well as developing live dashboards and e-reporting sites to provide real-time insights to stakeholders. One of my recent projects involved developing a collection of scripts to automate repetitive tasks, which saved significant time and allowed me to take on new responsibilities.Before joining Research NZ, I worked as a junior process engineer and improvement analyst at ABB, where I used R and SQL to process factory production data and develop improvement solutions using lean methodology. One of my most successful projects involved the development of an automated instruction and quality control system, which reduced paper waste and saved two hours of labor per day.Overall, my goal is to help organizations make data-driven decisions by providing accurate, insightful analysis and visualization.
