Highly qualified with over 30 years experience in Military Aviation and Training. I am currently a Contract Instructor Pilot working for Milskil within the RAAF F-35 program. I have extensive experience in Australia and around the globe with skill sets that include flying operations on multiple aircraft types, scheduling and planning, aviation safety, standards and evaluation, flying training execution and planning as well as training system development. My experience ranges from the “pointy end” execution to management and leadership roles within both military and civilian organisations. Non-technical skills include project management, Safety and OH&S, getting the best from teams, leadership and management training, the constant improvement process and the development of essential relationships between government and private sector organisations.As part of a team responsible for training the tip of the spear of Australians’ National Defence I share in the management of assets (people and machines) worth hundreds of millions of dollars ensuring they are managed in line with strategic plans, with accountability for performance and safety and whilst maintaining business continuity, sustainability, quality and efficiency. My role involves advising on safety, risk assessment, emergency response and personnel matters. My main duty is to provide support for operational and training activities within this organisation.
