About Heather Bindel

I graduated from Black Hills State University with degrees in Human Resource Management and Business Management. I started my career with Medical Arts Clinic as their accounts payable clerk and human resource assistant. I was given the opportunity to become the Assistant Clinic Manager and then the Clinic Manager of that clinic. In October 2013, Medical Arts Clinic merged with Rapid City Medical Center, becoming part of the largest physician owned medical practice in South Dakota. I am currently the Chief Operating Officer for Rapid City Medical Center. My passion is to help the physicians navigate the changing healthcare environment so that they are able to focus on providing excellent care to their patients. In my free time I enjoy fishing and hiking in the Black Hills with my husband, Luke and our son, Jackson.
