I completed case interviewing for various multi-jurisdictional food-borne outbreaks involving Salmonella, E.coli, and Hepatitis A. My tasks included developing new tools and resources for case interviewers, documenting, participating in team meetings, and providing additional support to the epidemiologists.

I assisted with the updating of office files through scanning, tracking, and recording to keep documents well organized and easy to access. I also corresponded by email in a professional and prompt manner to inquires and requests.

I mainly prepared culture media, reagents, and solutions while maintaining records of preparation. I also enhanced my precision and accuracy skills by calibrating various laboratory equipment. My job title also included managing the B-Safe monitoring program by conducting the appropriate biological tests to ensure proper sterilization of clients' autoclaves.

I excelled at written and verbal communication by answering phones and email inquiries for both students and parents. working in a fast-paced environment I also efficiently dealt with meeting multiple and concurrent deadlines by managing my time well and communicating with the team. It was important that I demonstrated a professional demeanor when interacting with students on confidential and sensitive matters.
