As the Resident Care Coordinator (RCC), I was the direct report of the Resident Care Director. In this role, I was in charge of maintaining files for all 120 residents of the home and other office operations such as filing, paperwork, scheduling appointments for the residents for doctors, ordering medication and supplies, doing inventory, and scheduling and assisting in interviews for both employment and residence. In addition, it was my responsibility to inform the team and residents of law changes on local, state, and federal levels, resident home changes, and implementation of said rules and regulations. I worked with state employees, doctors and family members to ensure that care and paperwork were being properly provided to their clients/ family members and ensuring that the organization was at an A level at all times. I worked to ensure that changes were implemented per recommendations from the state employees to maintain or improve the rating as needed. I was also on call to assist the Medication Technicians in distributing medication to residents, and providing caregiving to the residents. In addition to assisting the Medtechs and Caregivers, I was in charge of training new employees, productivity and accuracy coaching for veteran employees, and providing feedback to the team.

Circus Circus Reno has one of the top arcades in the city and in this role, I was expected to be able to be on brand at all times, providing excellent Customer Service from the moment I walked in and in uniform. This role taught me how to be on top of my customer service at all times due to the high volume of customers and the need to be able to switch approaches due to the different types of customers from children to adults as well as different experiences such as language barriers or changes in rules from year to year. I was trained as an as needed supervisor, closer, opener, in inventory and restock, in all games and on the redemption team. I provided training to new employees, up training for veteran employees such as moving to the redemption area, and providing positive and constructive feedback as needed.
