Supervised and authorised work of contractors to work on site via Permit to Work. Including; confined spaces, lifting operation and equipment, controlled plant shut downs. Worked to minimise environmental impact and energy consumption within the restrictions oppose by the Environmental Agency as well as maximise production of renewable energy to reduce site overhead costs.Ordered and scheduled chemical deliveries, repairs and maintenance on site. Take readings and samples to monitor site performances.In additional to the role I worked with engineering to define needs for investment by providing expertise & experience from site, performance analysis and improvement suggestions. This would allow a more realistic view of the sites current condition & potential for implementation. I also helped develop standard reporting for site performance across all shining star sites and acted as extra expertise for trouble shooting sites within my area.
