Leads the GeoSpatial Resource, a section of the Biostatistical and BioInformatics Shared Resource, at the Norris Cotton Cancer Center. Applies geospatial and data visualization techniques to issues of population health and the environment. This includes research on adolescent alcohol and tobacco use, cancer registries, the built and natural environment and community health among other areas. Performs spatial analysis including travel time, density estimation, small area analysis and cluster/hotspot detection with extensive use of US Census and other data sources.Wrangles population health data for Dartmouth-Hitchcock Health with a focus on data visualization and dashboard creation to aid in improving the health and wellbeing of patient populations.Instructed courses at both the undergraduate and graduate level in Health Geography. Performs analysis, visualization and data wrangling using the ArcGIS suite, Stata, R, Tableau and other tools.
