San Angelo State Supported Living Center
As the Director of Community Relations, I work closely with our non-profit the Volunteer Services Council. Their mission is to provide goods and services to the residents of the San Angelo State Supported Living Center. The San Angelo SSLC houses 140 individuals with Intellectual and Mental disabilities ranging in age from 15 to 96. The VSC is an independent organization and is not funded by the state but relies on donations and grants from the community. I help with fundraising, event planning, grant writing, and much more.
