Hi! I'm Heather Choate, international marriage expert and Co-Owner of High Thrive Coaching and Unified Marriage. I’m a mother of 8 amazing souls and I am a total baby lover (hence the 8 kids right). Funny thing, I also really like teenagers. Now I have both. Life is good.I’m goofy, awkward at times, passionate about what matters to me, a beast on the basketball court (at least my alter ego thinks she is), a geek for neuro science and quantum physics, I love to write books, read books and talk about books, and always looking to improve and progress in all areas of life. I don’t sit still (probably some ADHD for real) and I like to get things going (just ask my kids, clients, team or hubby, lol)My husband Ben and I have been married almost 16 years and I’m grateful to be sealed to him eternally. He is my rock. We’ve had our share of ups and downs, hurts and healings, rejections and acceptance and well, we’ve come a long way in 16 years.I am a stage 4 breast cancer survivor and was diagnosed with aggressive breast cancer at the age of 29 while pregnant with our 6th baby. I was given a 5% chance of making it to this day. Doctors told me to abort my baby to save my life and I told them “I’d rather die than take the life of my baby.” Through this, I learned to tune out all the other voices and opinions and listen to the inner voice, the one that knows truth. I knew I needed to save my life and that of my baby. And I couldn’t do it alone. I needed to rely on my faith in God and my husband. I also came to realize that if I were to survive, I needed to heal limited beliefs I had created and let go of pain, fear and bitterness. Removing those limiting beliefs, releasing the pain and bitterness was the most profound experience of my life. I became a totally different person and saw a totally different world. I realized how many other people are also holding onto limiting beliefs, fear, pain and bitterness and knew in my soul that part of my purpose for being alive and on the earth at this time, for being given a second chance at life, was to help people and couples heal from these.That is what I am called to create.And I am humble and grateful for the opportunity to do so. I pray that if possible, doors of light and understanding will be opened to those that are seeking.
