Point of contact for key stakeholders in College to Career initiative to deliver career based Life Sciences events to public higher education students. Also supported K-12 educational programming and advanced career awareness initiatives of the organization.

Led the planning and implementation of the organization's STEM initiatives. Working closely with the Senior Director of Workforce Operations, Heather collaborated with industry, educator, and employer stakeholders in various STEM fields to identify and deliver work based learning opportunities to high school students and young adults. Programs included MA STEM@Work Initiative, year-round and Summer Internships, and Regional STEM Network programming.

While serving three partner schools directly, manage School-to-Career Connecting Activities and other youth initiatives for seven partner schools, including outcome measures; Heather affected growth in the number of career awareness and career development workshops presented to high school students, and in the number of work-based learning opportunities for students in the Metro North region.

Increased access and opportunities for three partner schools by developing and nurturing relationships with local and regional employer stakeholders around youth employment and youth engagement opportunities. Heather facilitated youth career readiness skills workshops for students to meetemployment needs.

Researched grant opportunities, authored proposals to secure awards totaling over $100K for small, emerging company supporting overseas travel, residencies, performances, workshops and master classes

Supported middle school students of differentiated abilities to master English language arts to grade level, to leverage taught strategies in daily coursework, periodic testing, and formal assessment, and to exercise self-advocacy in and outside the classroom.

Taught coursework in Political Science and International Relations including Introduction to Political Science, Comparative Politics, and Introduction to International Relations.
