As a Recovery Coordinator at Change Grow Live, I support people with drug and alcohol issues to achieve their recovery goals. I work with a multidisciplinary team to provide holistic and person-centered interventions, such as harm reduction, psychosocial support, and relapse prevention. I also liaise with external agencies and partners to ensure the best outcomes for our clients.In addition to my recovery work, I am passionate about using art as a tool for social change and empowerment. I have over two years of experience as a Visual Arts Educator, delivering workshops and projects to children and young people from diverse and disadvantaged backgrounds. I have a Master of Arts degree in History of Art from the University of Birmingham, where I developed my critical and creative skills. I have also been involved in several art initiatives, such as the British Art Show 9 and Friction Arts, where I contributed to the promotion and engagement of contemporary art in the community.
